General class is for all grades. Beginner's class is for grades white belt up to 7th kyu (blue belt with black stripe). Advanced class is for grades 6th kyu (yellow belt) to Black Belt. Fighter's class is in shorts and T-shirt; bring protective equipment. Circuit class is in shorts and T-shirt and is aimed at developing muscle tone and endurance. All students are to train a minimum of twice per week at whichever of the above session times is possible. Joining fee is currently $99 and includes membership, insurance, and a Kyokushin uniform (normally $79). Tuition fees are based on six or twelve month periods, and include two sessions per week by a qualified instructor, grading fees, belts and certificates. Other equipment and merchandise ( shin pads, gloves, T-shirts, etc…) can be ordered through the school. Grading requires a minimum training attendance (20 sessions for grades up to 6th kyu yellow belt, 40 sessions for grades 5th kyu up to 1st kyu brown belt with black stripe, 80 sessions for black belt) and approval from instructor before being considered for any grade.
